Tasting note: A shining ruby red Cabernet Sauvignon with a pleasant bouquet and red fruit flavours, soft, mature tannins, good structure and medium body. It features remarkable aromas of red fruits such as strawberry, blackcurrant, and mulberry, together with menthol and spice notes, as well as a balance between fruit and oak, and a lingering finish.
Winery introduction:
Viña Carmen was founded in 1850 by Christian Lanz. Carmen has been recognized for its quality and for being a pioneer in the Chilean wine industry. For example, the Carmenere grape was discovered among the Carmen vineyards. Today, Viña Carmen is one of the most important Chilean wineries in the premium wine segment. It exports to more than 50 countries.
