Carpineto Molin Vecchio "Appodiato di Montepulciano"
Tasting note: Color: dark, deep, blackish-ruby hue. Bouquet: bold and intense, with blackberries and licorice, black pepper and a hint of vanilla. Taste: full-bodied palate with exceptional red fruit intensity and spice. Big structured with well integrated, supple tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Carpineto was co-founded in 1967 by wine visionaries, Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo. The pair set out to produce a world-class red wine from Chianti Classico. The duo quickly developed an international, awardwinning reputation for consistently elegant wines by adopting modern viticulture and winemaking techniques to create wines that dramatically exceeded the quality standards of the time.
