Catamarca, Argentina
The Catamarca area is bordered by Salta to the south. The vineyard here is small due to the rugged mountainous terrain. The most significant subregion here is the Flambalá Valley. The grapes here are mainly used for brandy or local wine, however Torrontés and Malbec are becoming more widely planted here.
