Tasting note:

Straw-gold in colour, Deutz "Demi-Sec" shows a very fine effervescence. The hallmark of a wine having benefited of the utmost care, notably of a perfectly controlled fermentation and of long maturation on the lees.
On the nose, the wine displays richness and complexity: notes of flowers (hawthorn blossom, white flowers…). Then many delicate layers of aromas will appear fruit, viennoiserie too, with an exquisite sense of balance.
On the palate, the wine shows again great balance and elegance. The nobility of the Chardonnay and the richness of the Pinot Noir shine through the fine, medium to fullbodied texture of the “Demi-Sec”.
The finish is lingering.
