Tasting note:

Appearance: Light pink with light peach reflections. Nose: Intense nose on citrus fruits (grapefruit, clementine), passion fruits, yellow fruits (peach, apricot), almond and acacia flowers. Palate: Acidulate mouth, fresh with a lot of structure. Very long on the palate, smooth with great aromatic complexity and silky, fine tannins.

Winery introduction:

Chateau Gassier is located in the heart of the Cru Sainte Victoire terroir of the Côtes de Provence appellation. The 40 hectares of organically grown vines are surrounded to the north by Mont Sainte Victoire, to the south by the Sainte Baume Massif and to the east by the Auréliens hills, forming a unique protective environment for the vineyard. It lies less than 30km from the Mediterranean Sea, in a semi-continental climate protected by the surrounding hills. This ideal environment offers perfect conditions for varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino. Château Gassier, with a technical approach adapted to each terroir, produces rosé wines of great finesse, reaching a pinnacle with its iconic 946 cuvée.
