Chateau Haut Bages Monpelou
Chateau Haut-Bages Monpelou is always favored by the wine industry as "Château Batailley's brother", because they have a cellar right at Batailley Castle. Behind the finished product are the bottles of Chauteau-Bages Monpelou which is also the head and skillful hands of the experienced winemaking team of the famous Chateau Batailley.

Located in the heart of the Pauillac region, the Haut-Bages Monpelou originally belonged to the famous Chateau Duhart Milon - under the Rothschild family, then separated to operate independently since 1950, and joined the bloc. estate of the Casteja family in 1970.
Concentrating on exploiting 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc on a vineyard with an area of 15ha, mainly gravel soil, Chauteau Haut-Bages Monpelou produces wines with rich flavors of ripe fruit, flavors and aromas. Typical black currant Pauillac on the tip of the tongue, firm structure, medium length, strong tannins in the throat. A stylish but relatively simple wine, easy to understand, easy to perceive, with the potential to keep for about 5-10 years.
Recognized as “Cru Bourgeois”, located diagonally across Duhart-Milon Castle and very close to the vineyards of the region’s venerable castles such as Grand Puy-Lacoste, Grand-Puy-Ducasse and Lynch-Moussas, the quality is completely natural. Compared to many other famous castles, Chateau Haut-Bages Monpelou is more popular due to its more affordable price, with a Batailley style.
