An intense bouquet with aromas of very ripe red and black summer fruits with spicy notes. In addition, the palate boasts notes of liquorice and leather combined with a lovely tannic structure. Balance, strength and length are what characterise this wine. Serve at 16°C to accompany meats in sauce and beautiful grills.

Destemming and fermentation at 28 °C. Juice extraction is enhanced by re-circulating the lees manually from the bottom of the vats once a day. The wine is macerated for 4 -6 weeks before pressing, followed by the malolactic fermentation phase.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels for 40% of the wine what gives complexity and length in mouth.
A historic and family estate in the heart of Rivesaltes since 1895. A terroir in the Agly Valley, in the foothills of the Corbières. Clay-limestone with some schistose materials as well as siliceous pebble. Soil perfectly suited for the production of high quality wines. More than 200 ha converted into organic and biodynamic culture (since 1997).
