Tasting Note
A pale gold colour with aromas of apple pie and orange flower on the nose, with hints of toffee emerging as the Légendaire breathes. A fresh, supple and lively attack of light caramel and liquorice, blossoming to reveal intense and dynamic notes of roasted fruits and fine spices (nutmeg, grey pepper, cinnamon). A superbly smooth finish.
Distillery Introduction
Domaine Tariquet is located in Gascony, in Southwest France. This estate of 1,125 hectares has been family-owned by the Grassa since 1912 (5 generations). As “Propriétaire-Récoltant” (wine grower), all the wines and Bas-Armagnacs are produced exclusively from the family’s vineyards and are estate-bottled. 100 ha of vineyards are dedicated to the production of Bas-Armagnac. Domaine Tariquet uses a sustainable method of growing and only uses natural fertilizers.
