Sometimes mistakes turn into great successes ... The name "Ettamiano" comes from an error of the clerk of the registry office at the end of the 19th century who registered in this imaginative and unusual way the grandfather of President Maci, progenitor of a family of winemakers and passionate winemakers.
A tribute to history and tradition, as well as the historic Primitivo grape, whose name derives from its early ripening ("first grapes" in fact). The carefully selected grapes were first de-stemmed and then harvested late, manually harvested in trays and left to dry in our loft. Ettamiano is aged in cask to enhance the tannins and extraordinary elegance.
Intense red wine with cardinal reflections. Arouses an important wealth of aromas on the nose: jam and fruit in alcohol, light roasting and aromas of vanilla and chocolate. Warm, soft, with perfectly balanced tannins to the fruit, which returns to the palate with a finish of almonds and walnuts. A cerebral and committed wine, it offers depth and elegance.
