Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre
Selection of plots on high altitude terroirs, hard to work, with low yields and advanced maturity, where vine grows directly on the rock. Harvested by hand. Grapes are first sorting and destemmed before being put in stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation is done under temperature controlled (23-30°C). Grapes varieties are often co-fermented to win in complexity. It is also a reflection of our mosaic of plots. Each grape variety brings its characteristic too: Mourvedre shows elegance, Grenache some roundness and Syrah gives a unique minerality.
A historic and family estate in the heart of Rivesaltes since 1895. A terroir in the Agly Valley, in the foothills of the Corbières. Clay-limestone with some schistose materials as well as siliceous pebble. Soil perfectly suited for the production of high quality wines. More than 200 ha converted into organic and biodynamic culture (since 1997).
