Aging: Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, 38% new, and 15% in foudres.
Arboleda Brisa owns a beautiful, and bright ruby red color with violet glitter. The nose is very aromatic with notes of raspberries, pomegranates, and currant leaves accompanied by floral notes, all framed with soft notes of nuts and pastries. The palate reveals red fruits and pastries and a soft balsamic note that reminds me of rosemary and tarragon - a wine with chalky tannins, great persistence with excellent volume and finesse on the palate.
Serving Suggestion: Best served at 17°C.
Viña Arboleda was founded in 1999 by the Chilean vintner Eduardo Chadwick. The philosophy behind this project is to craft single-vineyard wines that reveal the purest expression of each unique terroir within its vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley. Arboleda, which means a grove of trees, is a tribute to the more than 1,450 hectares (3,583 acres) of native forest that surround its sustainably managed vineyards.
