Our sumptuous, full-bodied Catharsis Rosé is clear and bright with an intense salmon-pink hue. The nose discloses succulent red fruit aromas (strawberries and raspberries), the hallmark of a great rosé. The palate is fresh and fruit-packed. Its lovely, well-balanced tangy finish (gooseberry) is a fine illustration of Sainchargny’s winemaking skills. This wine is the promise of a rich, complex aromatic experience.
With around 180 hectares spread over 22 communes, from Mancey in the North to Azé in the South, we have been creating a palette of the finest nuances of Burgundy with which to craft our wines for almost a century. Chardonnay is the predominant varietal with 133 hectares
planted, followed by Pinot Noir (32 hectares), Gamay (8 hectares) and a small amount of Aligoté. Over 100 wine-
growers work all year round on these ancient lands. It is the diversity of terroirs that gives our sparkling wines their power and their inimitable style. Thanks to the size of our vineyards dedicated to producing the Crémant base wines we can confidently claim to be the biggest producer of Crémant de Bourgogne.
