Château Laroze Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe

Tasting note:

Fleshy damson fruit with a rich texture and a sense of lift is well controlled from start to finish. You feel the wall of fruit but the juicy mid-palate maintains a sense of perspective. It has touches of white pepper spice and good persistency.

Winery Introduction:

In 1610, the Gurchy family were already winegrowers in SaintEmilion. In 1882, they founded the family estate of Laroze. Château Laroze is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé and its 27-hectare (67-acre) vineyard is located at the foot of the hill to the north-west of the medieval village of Saint-Emilion. The wine is aged in oak barrels (65% new) for 16 months.
