The most surprising of our Rivesaltes! A purple colour with slightly copper tints. A fresh, smooth and slightly sweet wine...very on-trend.
Ready to drink immediately, it will also keep almost indefinitely. To appreciate it at its best, serve it at 13°C. The wonderful aromas of wild berries make this wine an obvious choice to enhance any pudding made with red fruit. After ageing, it will offer aromas of crystallized red fruit and roasting allowing it to appear beside chocolate desserts.

Product details

The only Rivesaltes Grenat made from grapes from organic and bio-dynamic agriculture.
Vinification : Destemming followed by fermentation at 28°C. Fermentation is stopped during the solid phase half way through the process by adding neutral alcohol, whereupon the maceration continues for an extra fortnight.
Maturing : This wine is bottled within 12 months of the harvest and is stocked in air conditioned cellars.
Endless food pairings: tapas, cherry duck, gouda, desserts with red fruits and chocolate, cocktails…

A historic and family estate in the heart of Rivesaltes since 1895. A terroir in the Agly Valley, in the foothills of the Corbières. Clay-limestone with some schistose materials as well as siliceous pebble. Soil perfectly suited for the production of high quality wines. More than 200 ha converted into organic and biodynamic culture (since 1997).
