Tasting note:

Preservation of fruit to retain the pure and delicate character of Pinot Noir was a focus for me with the 2019 harvest. Complex yet delicate fruit provides a full spectrum of cranberry, pomegranate and raspberry flavours with bright acidity and silky tannins. Light floral notes are complemented by a touch of oak, perfecting the wine with pleasant earthy almond character.

The Glen Carlou Winery is known for its internationally acclaimed Chardonnay and Bordeaux varietals. It became South African Producer of the Year’ last week at Cape Wine (2015) by The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC)
