Product details

An unusual blend, created quite by chance in the cellars and then became a great success. A wine style typical not only of the Salento region but also of the whole Mediterranean basin, able to combine with skill the typicity of the Primitivo with the international style of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

A magical meeting that creates a unique organoleptic character; the elegant herbaceous quality of the Cabernet and the soft, spicy fruit of the Primitivo blended together to make a wine with both body and delicate fruit.

The grapes are handpicked in September and vinified separately in horizontal rotating tanks and then blended together before aging in French and American oak barrels for 6 months.

Tasting notes:

Deep ruby red in color; the bouquet erupts in a medley of blueberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, and cherries. On the palate notes of balsamic with

spicy undernotes combine with the fruit to give a pure expression of Primitivo.
